Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Yeet ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company"), a video-based debate and discussion platform that enables users to express, share, and respond to opinions through short video clips ("Posts"). Yeet is owned and operated by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India and having its registered office in India ("Sarnav Technologies").

These Terms Terms and Conditions (“”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the user (“you” or “user”), and Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, governing your access to and use of the Yeet mobile application, website, and related digital services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By downloading, installing, registering on, accessing, or otherwise using Yeet, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policy or notice incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms and any other policy or document referenced herein, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Platform and uninstall the Yeet application from your device.

1.1 Nature of Yeet as a Platform

Yeet is an “intermediary” as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and is entitled to safe-harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act and related rules, provided it observes due diligence as prescribed therein. Yeet provides technological tools that allow users to create, upload, view, and exchange short video content and opinions.

  • Does not initiate, select, modify, moderate, or alter any user-generated content;
  • Does not endorse, verify, or vouch for the authenticity, legality, or accuracy of any user opinion, statement, or expression;
  • Acts solely as a neutral and passive facilitator of online debate, discussion, and digital expression; and
  • Does not assume any obligation to monitor or pre-screen user-generated content except as expressly required under applicable law or valid court/governmental order.

Yeet, its parent company, directors, investors, employees, and affiliates shall not be responsible or liable for any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available by users on the Platform.

All opinions on Yeet are those of individual users and do not represent Yeet or Sarnav Technologies. Yeet will not be responsible or liable for user-posted content.

1.2 Binding Agreement and Eligibility

By accessing or using Yeet, you confirm that you are legally competent to enter into this agreement or are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent/guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

  • You are legally competent to enter into this agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, or you are using the Platform under the supervision and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
  • Yeet and Sarnav Technologies shall not be held liable for any unauthorized, unsupervised, or unlawful access or use of the Platform by minors or any person acting without requisite legal authority.
  • Yeet is intended for users of all ages, provided that where the user is a minor (below 18 years), the parent or legal guardian shall be fully responsible for all activities conducted through such minor’s account, including any misuse, content upload, or engagement with third parties.
  • You understand and accept that you use the Platform entirely at your own risk, and are solely responsible for any content you create, share, or interact with, as well as for any consequence (legal, social, or financial) arising from such activity.
  • You irrevocably waive and release any and all rights to hold Yeet, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, or any of its affiliates, officers, employees, investors, directors, agents, or partners liable or responsible for any user content, opinion, statement, act, omission, or interaction occurring on or through the Platform, whether initiated by you or any other user.
  • Your access to and continued use of Yeet shall constitute your ongoing acceptance of these Terms, including any subsequent modifications, updates, or revisions, and you agree to be legally bound by all such revisions.

1.3 Amendments to Terms

Yeet reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time, to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, technology, or business operations.

Revised Terms will be posted on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after such updates shall constitute your express and informed acceptance of the revised Terms.

  • It shall be your sole responsibility to review these Terms periodically to remain aware of any amendments.
  • Yeet may, but is not obligated to, notify users of material changes via in-app notifications, email, or other reasonable means.

  • Yeet may, at its discretion, direct that such notices or summons be served upon its designated legal counsel, authorized officer, or compliance representative, rather than a public office address.
  • All notices must include complete sender details, a valid return email, and supporting documentation as required by applicable law, to ensure lawful and timely processing.

2. User-Generated Content, Responsibility & Platform Immunity

2.1 Platform as an Intermediary

Yeet is an “intermediary” within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”). Under Section 79 of the IT Act, Yeet shall not be liable for any third-party information, data, or communication link made available or hosted on the Platform, provided Yeet observes due diligence and complies with applicable law and these Terms.

Yeet’s role is strictly limited to providing a neutral technological platform that enables users to create, upload, and share short-form video expressing thoughts, opinions, debates, and discussions. Yeet does not:

  • initiate or modify the transmission of any content or data;
  • select the recipient of any transmission made by users; or
  • alter, edit, moderate, or curate any user-generated content in any manner.

Accordingly, Yeet:

  • is not responsible or liable for user-generated content;
  • does not endorse, verify, or vouch for the accuracy, legality, morality, or completeness of any statement, opinion, or representation made by users; and
  • is not responsible or liable for any consequence, damage, loss, or claim arising from user content, including but not limited to defamation, infringement of intellectual-property rights, obscenity, hate speech, or privacy violations.

2.2 Ownership & Responsibility for Content

All videos, audio, images, text, usernames, and comments (“Content”) are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user who created or submitted them.

By uploading or posting Content, you represent and warrant that you:

  • own or hold valid rights or licences to use, distribute, and publicly display the Content;
  • the Content does not infringe any intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity right, and is not unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited under applicable law;
  • accept full legal responsibility for any claim, dispute, or damage arising from or related to your Content.

Yeet does not claim ownership of your Content. However, you grant Yeet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute such Content solely to operate, maintain, and promote the Platform.

This licence remains effective while the Content is hosted and terminates automatically upon its lawful removal or deletion.

2.3 No Verification, No Endorsement

All opinions, debates, and expressions hosted on Yeet are solely those of individual users and do not represent Yeet, Sarnav Technologies, or its affiliates, employees, or investors.

Yeet does not review, fact-check, or endorse any Content and expressly disclaims responsibility for its accuracy, legality, or reliability.

The mere appearance of Content on the Platform shall not be construed as endorsement, sponsorship, or representation by Yeet or Sarnav Technologies in any manner.

2.4 Platform’s Limited Moderation Rights

Yeet is under no obligation to proactively monitor Content but reserves the right, without obligation, to:

  • remove, restrict, or disable access to any Content that violates these Terms, law, or Community Guidelines;
  • suspend or terminate accounts engaged in repeated or serious violations;
  • remove or disable Content upon a valid court order, government directive, or lawful written complaint under Rules 3(1)(d) and 3(1)(j) of the IT Rules 2021.

Any moderation or removal by Yeet shall not constitute editorial control and shall not affect Yeet’s intermediary status or its safe-harbour protection under Section 79 IT Act.

2.5 User Accountability & Indemnification

You are solely and entirely responsible for all Content and activity on the Platform. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yeet, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, and all its directors, officers, employees, investors, agents, affiliates, service partners, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, penalties, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • your Content or use of the Platform;
  • any infringement or violation of third-party rights;
  • any breach of law, regulation, or these Terms; or
  • any action taken by Yeet in good-faith compliance with legal process, court order, or government request.

This obligation survives termination of your account and your use of Yeet. You agree that no claim for damages or reimbursement may be made against Yeet or its affiliates under any circumstance.

2.6 Grievance Redressal (Indian law)

Pursuant to Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Yeet has established an internal Grievance Redressal Mechanism for user complaints regarding Content or Platform usage.

(All grievances and legal notices must be sent only to this email address. This is the sole official point of contact for grievance redressal and compliance communication. Yeet does not accept physical correspondence or in-person submissions.)

Yeet’s grievance-handling team will:

  • acknowledge complaints within 72 hours of receipt; and
  • make reasonable efforts to resolve them within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or by the nature of the issue.
  • Notifications of removal and record retention rules apply as set out in the policy.

If Content is removed or access is restricted pursuant to a complaint or lawful directive, Yeet shall—where legally permissible—

  • notify the affected user within 7 days; and
  • retain a record of such action for at least 180 days for regulatory compliance.

All grievance correspondence shall be conducted digitally via email. Yeet may consult external legal advisors for resolution but shall not be obligated to appoint or disclose any individual grievance officer publicly.

2.7 Compliance Cooperation

Yeet shall cooperate fully with law-enforcement and regulatory authorities as required under the IT Act and its rules.

Yeet may retain user data and related records for the legally prescribed period (currently 180 days or longer, if required) for investigation, cyber-security, or compliance purposes.

Yeet may furnish such information to competent authorities pursuant to lawful orders without incurring any liability to any user or third party.

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

This section is issued pursuant to Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended in 2023 (“IT Rules 2021”).

It ensures Yeet’s full compliance with Indian law and preserves its safe-harbour immunity under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”).

By accessing or using Yeet, you irrevocably agree to the following provisions.

3.1 General Conduct

You shall use the Platform only for lawful, legitimate, and ethical purposes, in strict compliance with the IT Act 2000, the Indian Penal Code 1860, and all other applicable laws.

    You shall not engage in any act that may:

  • Violate these Terms or any applicable law;
  • Cause harm, nuisance, distress, or intimidation to any person; or
  • Disrupt, damage, disable, or impair the operation, security, or integrity of Yeet or any related system.

Any breach shall, at the sole discretion of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, result in immediate suspension, restriction, or termination of access to Yeet, without prior notice and without any liability or refund.

3.2 Prohibited Content (as per Rule 3(1)(b), IT Rules 2021)

You are strictly prohibited from uploading, posting, transmitting, or sharing any Content that:

  • Belongs to another person without authorization;
  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Insults or harasses on the basis of gender, religion, caste, sexual orientation, race, disability, or similar grounds;
  • Harms minors or promotes child sexual abuse, nudity, or exploitation;
  • Infringes any intellectual-property right (copyright, trademark, patent etc.) without permission;
  • Deceives or misleads as to origin or communicates false or misleading information;
  • Impersonates another person or organisation;
  • Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order;
  • Incites an offence or promotes criminal, immoral, or unlawful activity;
  • Is patently false, untrue, or misleading and likely to cause harm to individuals or society;
  • Violates any law or contains viruses, malware, or malicious code;
  • Promotes gambling, narcotics, weapons, counterfeit goods, or other illegal products; or
  • Involves unauthorised solicitation or spam, including chain letters, pyramid schemes, or bulk marketing.

Any violation shall lead to immediate removal of content, permanent account termination, and reporting to authorities, without any liability or obligation on Yeet or Sarnav Technologies.

3.3 User Interaction Standards

Yeet supports open debate and diversity of opinion but forbids misuse of that freedom. You shall:

  • Debate and express views respectfully, avoiding hate, hostility, or personal attacks;
  • Refrain from doxxing, bullying, stalking, or harassment;
  • Not target, provoke, or malign individuals or communities;
  • Respect privacy and obtain consent of all persons appearing in your videos; and
  • Not manipulate engagement metrics using bots, fake accounts, or scripts.

Yeet promotes freedom of expression within lawful limits and reserves the right to act unilaterally against any misuse or violation.

3.4 Consequences of Violation

At its sole and absolute discretion, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited may, without prior notice and without any obligation of refund, reinstatement, or compensation, take any or all of the following actions:

  • Remove or disable offending Content immediately;
  • Temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate the user account;
  • Block or restrict the user’s access to the Platform;
  • Report the matter to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities; and
  • Retain user data for investigation or compliance as required by law.

Such actions are in addition to and without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to the Company.

Users shall have no claim for damages, compensation, or reinstatement arising out of any enforcement action.

3.5 User Cooperation &

You shall fully co-operate with Sarnav Technologies in any internal or external investigation into misuse of the Platform.

You agree to provide complete and accurate information upon request and shall not obstruct, delay, or interfere with any investigation or lawful process.

3.6 Reporting Mechanism

If you encounter Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, you may report it using the in-app reporting feature or by email at:

Yeet’s grievance-handling team will:

  • Acknowledge all complaints within 72 hours of receipt; and
  • Make reasonable efforts to resolve each complaint within 30 days, unless an extended period is warranted by law or complexity.
  • Where content is removed or access restricted following a lawful directive, Yeet shall—where legally permissible—
  • Notify the affected user within 7 days; and
  • Retain records for 180 days to meet legal obligations.

All grievance communication shall be conducted digitally via email. Yeet may engage external legal or compliance advisors for resolution.

If Yeet is later classified as a Significant Social Media Intermediary under Rule 3(1)(v) of the IT Rules 2021, the above timelines shall automatically update to 24-hour acknowledgement and 15-day resolution, without separate notice.

4. Content Moderation, Takedown Process & Grievance Redressal Transparency

4.1 Overview

Yeet is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and respectful digital environment while upholding the principles of freedom of expression.

  • Comply with applicable laws, judicial orders, and government directives;
  • Protect user safety, dignity, and community integrity; and
  • Fulfil Yeet’s due diligence obligations under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (“IT Rules 2021”).

Yeet’s moderation and takedown decisions are implemented objectively and proportionately. Such actions do not imply editorial control, endorsement, or authorship of any user-generated content.

4.2 Automated and Human Moderation

Yeet employs a combination of automated detection tools and human moderation to identify content that may violate these Terms, applicable laws, or community guidelines.

    Moderation mechanisms may include:
  • Automated scanning for nudity, violence, or hate speech;
  • Manual review by trained moderation personnel;
  • Escalation of user-reported content; and
  • Legal review in response to complaints, court orders, or law enforcement requests.

Moderation actions are performed in good faith and do not transform Yeet into a publisher or editor within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the IT Act.

4.3 Content Removal Triggers

Content may be removed, disabled, or restricted under any of the following circumstances:

  • Upon receipt of a court order or lawful government directive;
  • Upon receipt of a valid complaint via Yeet’s grievance mechanism;
  • Upon detection of a clear violation of Yeet’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines;
  • Where content threatens public order, decency, morality, or security;
  • Where content is fraudulent, impersonated, or misleading;
  • Where content constitutes hate speech, harassment, or misinformation; or
  • Any other situation where Yeet, acting reasonably and in good faith, determines that removal is necessary to protect legal or community interests.

All such actions are undertaken in compliance with Rule 3(1)(d), Rule 3(1)(j), and Rule 4(8) of the IT Rules 2021.

4.4 User Notification and Opportunity to Respond

Where legally permissible and operationally feasible, Yeet shall:

  • Notify the user whose content has been removed or restricted;
  • Specify, in general terms, the reason for such removal or restriction; and
  • Provide the user an opportunity to respond or appeal the decision within a reasonable period.

However, Yeet may withhold prior notice or limit disclosure if:

  • The content poses an immediate risk to safety, security, or public order;
  • A court or government authority directs confidentiality; or
  • Notification could obstruct an investigation, enforcement, or regulatory process.

Yeet’s decision on whether notice is warranted shall be final and binding.

4.5 Appeals and Review

If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may seek a review by writing to:

  • Appeals will be acknowledged within 7 days and reviewed within 30 days, unless delayed due to a lawful order or ongoing investigation.
  • Yeet’s decision on appeal shall be final, conclusive, and not subject to further review, except where overruled by a competent authority or court.

Submission of an appeal does not suspend enforcement, and Yeet shall not be obligated to reinstate content or accounts pending review.

4.6 Transparency Reports

In accordance with Rule 4(8) of the IT Rules 2021, Yeet shall publish periodic Transparency Reports containing anonymized, aggregate data on:

  • The number and nature of takedown or content-removal requests received;
  • The number of content items or accounts disabled or restricted;
  • Average response and resolution times; and
  • Summary data on appeals, reinstatements, and legal requests.

Such reports will be made publicly available on Yeet’s website or app interface at intervals determined by Yeet.

Publication of transparency data shall not imply admission of liability or wrongdoing by Yeet.

4.7 No Waiver of Intermediary Status

All moderation, removal, or filtering actions undertaken by Yeet shall:

  • Be deemed to have been carried out in good faith and without prejudice to Yeet’s intermediary status;
  • Not be construed as assumption of responsibility or authorship of user content; and
  • Not affect Yeet’s entitlement to safe-harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act.

For clarity, Yeet remains a neutral intermediary, and no moderation activity shall create any liability or obligation to any user or third party.

4.8. Record Retention

Yeet shall maintain records of all content-removal actions, complaints, and resolutions for a minimum of 180 days or for such longer period as may be required under applicable law, by a court of competent jurisdiction, or by a lawful government directive.

Yeet shall not retain any personal user data beyond this period unless specifically mandated under law or necessary to comply with an active investigation or enforcement proceeding.

Such records may be disclosed only upon receipt of a valid written order from a competent authority, and Yeet shall incur no liability whatsoever for furnishing or withholding such information in compliance with law.

4.9 No Liability for Enforcement Actions

Yeet, its parent company, directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, or consequencearising out of:

  • Any moderation, takedown, or suspension of content or account;
  • Any good-faith action to comply with court or government orders; or
  • Any delay, error, or omission in the execution of such actions.

Users expressly waive any right to claim damages, reinstatement, or compensation arising from moderation or enforcement actions under this Section.

5. User Accounts, Verification & Security Obligations

5.1. Account Creation

To access certain features of Yeet, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including a valid mobile number, email ID, or approved social-login credentials.

    By registering, you agree that:

  • All information submitted is true, current, and complete;
  • You will promptly update details if they change; and
  • You will not create an account on behalf of another person without proper authorization.

Yeet may, at its sole discretion, refuse registration, suspend, or terminate any account if the information provided is false, misleading, incomplete, or associated with misuse.

5.2. User Verification (Optional but Compliant)

    Yeet may, at its discretion, offer or require user verification through:
  • OTP confirmation to a registered mobile number or email;
  • Validation of a government-issued identity document; or
  • Use of authorized third-party verification services.

Verification serves to enhance authenticity and safety and does not constitute endorsement, guarantee, or representation by Yeet. In accordance with Rule 4A of the IT Rules 2023​, verified users may display a verification indicator (✔ or “Verified”).​

5.3. Account Responsibility

You are solely and entirely responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • Restricting access to your devices and account; and
  • All activities carried out through your account, whether authorized by you or not.

If you suspect unauthorized use, you must immediately notify [email protected] Yeet shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from your failure to secure your account or device. Yeet’s receipt of a security alert shall not be deemed acceptance of responsibility for any resulting loss.

5.4. Identity Misuse and Impersonation

Users shall not:

  • Impersonate any person or entity;
  • Create accounts to deceive or misrepresent identity; or
  • Access or use another user’s account without consent.

Any suspected impersonation or identity fraud may result in immediate suspension and referral to law-enforcement authorities under the IT Act 2000 and Indian Penal Code 1860

Yeet shall bear no responsibility for damages arising from impersonation or fraudulent accounts created by third parties

5.5. Account Security and Data Protection

Yeet implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards consistent with Section 43A of the IT Act to protect accounts and data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

However, you acknowledge that no system is entirely secure, and you use Yeet at your own risk.

Yeet, its affiliates, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any breach or data compromise caused by:

  • Hacking, malware, or cyber-attacks by third parties; or
  • Your own negligence, weak credentials, or device insecurity.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yeet disclaims all warranties of security or uninterrupted access.

5.6 Multiple or Fake Accounts

Creating or maintaining multiple accounts to manipulate metrics (views, likes, follows, or debates) or to evade moderation is strictly prohibited.

Yeet may, at its discretion, remove or merge such accounts, reset engagement statistics, or impose account-level restrictions without notice or liability.

5.7 Account Termination by User

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time via in-app settings or by emailing [email protected]

Upon termination

  • Publicly visible content may persist temporarily for operational or legal reasons
  • Yeet will retain only the minimum data required by law (currently 180 days under Rule 3(1)(h) IT Rules 2021); and
  • All licences granted by you to Yeet will cease, except where continued retention is legally mandated.

Deletion of your account does not entitle you to any refund, recovery of data, or reinstatement of deleted content.

5.8 Account Termination by Yeet

Yeet may, at its sole and absolute discretion, suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law;
  • Your activity endangers platform integrity or user safety; or
  • Required by a lawful court order, government directive, or regulatory request.

Upon termination:

  • You permanently lose access to your account, data, and all features;
  • YAll associated content may be deleted or retained as required by law; and
  • No refund, compensation, or reinstatement shall be due to you under any circumstance.

Termination shall not affect any existing indemnities, obligations, or liabilities accrued prior to suspension.

5.9 Retention and Audit Compliance

Yeet shall retain account-related logs, IP records, and transactional data for a minimum of 180 days following account deletion, or longer if required by law, investigation, or court order, in compliance with Rule 3(1)(h) of the IT Rules 2021.

  • You violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law;
  • Your activity endangers platform integrity or user safety; or
  • Required by a lawful court order, government directive, or regulatory request.

Such data shall be stored securely and disclosed only pursuant to a lawful written request from a competent authority.

  • You permanently lose access to your account, data, and all features;
  • YAll associated content may be deleted or retained as required by law; and
  • No refund, compensation, or reinstatement shall be due to you under any circumstance.

Termination shall not affect any existing indemnities, obligations, or liabilities accrued prior to suspension.

5.10 No Liability for Account Actions

Yeet, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, its parent company, directors, employees, investors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, or consequence arising from:

  • Account suspension, termination, or deletion;
  • Refusal or failure to verify an account;
  • Technical errors, outages, or loss of data; or
  • Any delay or act done in good-faith compliance with legal or security obligations.

You expressly waive all rights to claim damages, refunds, reinstatement, or compensation arising from any account action or enforcement decision by Yeet.

6. Intellectual Property Rights & Licensing

6.1. Ownership of User Content

All videos, audio clips, comments, text, graphics, and other materials that you upload or create on Yeet (“User Content”) remain your intellectual property.

Yeet does not claim ownership of your original content.

By uploading or posting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the creator or rightful licensee of the Content;
  • You have full rights and authority to share it on Yeet; and
  • The Content does not infringe upon any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal right.

By submitting or uploading Content to Yeet, you grant Sarnav Technologies Pvt. Ltd. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

  • Host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, perform, distribute, and modify your Content;
  • Use your Content to operate, promote, and improve the Platform; and
  • Create derivative works (such as previews, thumbnails, or algorithmic recommendations) solely for Platform functionality.

This licence exists only for the purpose of operating and providing Yeet’s services and shall automatically terminate when you delete your content or close your account, except where retention is required by law.

Yeet will never sell or commercially exploit your content outside the Platform without your explicit written consent.Yeet shall not be obligated to remove cached, backup, or algorithmically generated copies of deleted content that persist temporarily in technical storage systems

6.3. Use of Yeet’s Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Yeet—including but not limited to its software, algorithms, trademarks, designs, user interface, brand name, and logo—are owned or lawfully licensed to Sarnav Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

You must not:

  • Use Yeet’s trademarks, brand elements, or proprietary code without written authorization;
  • Copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of Yeet’s platform; or
  • Misrepresent association or endorsement with Yeet.

Unauthorized use of Yeet’s intellectual property will constitute infringement under the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and may result in legal action. Yeet reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies against any person misusing or reproducing its name, mark, or likeness for commercial or deceptive purposes.

6.4. Infringement by Users

If Yeet receives a credible claim or notice that your Content infringes any copyright, trademark, or proprietary right of a third party, Yeet may:

  • Temporarily or permanently remove or disable access to the disputed content
  • Notify you of the complaint, if legally permitted; and
  • Take action, including suspension or termination of your account, for repeated violations.

You agree to indemnify Yeet for any costs, damages, or liabilities arising from IP infringement claims caused by your Content. Yeet’s removal or disabling of any content under this Section shall be without prejudice to its intermediary safe-harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act.

6.5. Copyright Infringement Notice (DMCA / Indian Copyright Procedure)

If you believe that your copyrighted material has been used or shared on Yeet without authorization, you may submit a written complaint to our Copyright Officer containing:

  • Your full name, address, and contact details;;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • A clear description or URL of the allegedly infringing content;
  • A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized agent; and
  • A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized agent; and

Upon receiving a valid notice, Yeet will act in accordance with the Copyright Act, 1957 (Section 52(1)(c)) and remove or disable the content within a reasonable timeframe.

6.6. Repeat Infringement Policy

Users who are subject to multiple valid IP complaints may face:

  • Permanent account suspension;
  • Blocking from future registration; and
  • Reporting to authorities or copyright bodies where applicable.

Yeet maintains a zero-tolerance policy for repeated infringement to protect the rights of creators and ensure compliance with Indian and international IP law. Yeet shall not be liable for any claims or damages arising from account suspension or content removal under this policy

6.7. Reservation of Rights

Except for the limited license granted by users, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Yeet Platform—including its technology, design, features, and branding—remain the exclusive property of Sarnav Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

No provision in these Terms transfers ownership or any proprietary interest to you. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting any implied license, right of use, or assignment of Yeet’s intellectual property, whether by estoppel or otherwise.

7. Payments, Monetization & Earnings

7.1. Paid Features and Subscriptions

Yeet may offer paid plans, in-app purchases, or premium features. By purchasing or subscribing, you expressly agree that:

  • You are legally authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • You authorize Yeet or its appointed payment gateway to debit the applicable amount.
  • All payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except where Yeet expressly communicates a refund policy or where refund is required by law.
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
  • All billing and transactions are processed entirely through independent third-party payment gateways compliant with RBI and PCI-DSS standards.

Yeet does not control or access your full payment data and shall not be responsible for any error, delay, double-charge, chargeback, failed transaction, or dispute between you, your bank, or the payment provider.

If a refund cannot be completed for any reason — including gateway failure, fund unavailability, or legal restriction — Yeet’s liability ends upon initiating the refund process.

Yeet shall not owe interest, damages, or alternate compensation.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes irrevocable acceptance of these terms.

7.2. Monetization for Creators (If Applicable)

Yeet may, at its sole discretion, allow verified users to earn through:

  • Views, engagement, or participation in debates;
  • In-app tips or rewards;
  • Brand collaborations or advertising programs;
  • Any other monetization model introduced by Yeet.

All monetization programs are voluntary and discretionary

Eligibility, payout metrics, and formulae are set solely by Yeet and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice or liability. Participation does not create any partnership, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Yeet.

Yeet reserves absolute rights to review, correct, or cancel any earnings calculation or monetization feature at its discretion, and users shall have no right to contest or claim compensation for such actions.

7.3. Payouts and Payment Processing

For eligible creators:

  • Payments will be transferred to your verified bank, UPI, or wallet account;
  • Yeet may define minimum payout thresholds, frequency, and service fees;
  • All earnings are shown gross of taxes; you alone must declare and pay any applicable Income-Tax, GST, or TDS liabilities.

Yeet may withhold, adjust, or cancel payouts at its absolute discretion if:

  • Any algorithmic, technical, or calculation error is detected;
  • Suspected fraud, bot traffic, or manipulation occurs;
  • Your account is under review, suspended, or found in violation of these Terms; or
  • A legal, regulatory, or banking restriction arises.

Yeet’s payment obligation shall be deemed fully discharged once a payout is initiated to the payment gateway or your nominated account.

Yeet shall not be responsible for gateway errors, incorrect account details, chargebacks, or delays beyond its control.

Users expressly waive any right to claim, compel, or litigate for unpaid, withheld, or reversed amounts, even if Yeet later corrects or modifies its payout algorithm or calculations.

7.4. International Transactions (FEMA Compliance)

Cross-border transactions may be governed by the Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999 (FEMA) and RBI regulations.

Yeet may route such payments only through authorized intermediaries.

Exchange-rate fluctuations, intermediary fees, and international delays are outside Yeet’s control.

Yeet may suspend or restrict international transfers at any time to comply with RBI or government directives, without liability.

7.5. Refund Policy

All payments made on Yeet are final and binding. Refunds, where granted, are discretionary and subject to:

  • Verification of transaction authenticity;
  • Availability of funds via the payment gateway;
  • Compliance with applicable laws.

Refunds that cannot be executed due to technical, financial, or regulatory reasons end Yeet’s liability upon initiating the refund. Any processed refunds are limited strictly to the original payment amount. Refunds mandated by law follow the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

7.6. Transparency and Audit

Yeet may publish aggregated, anonymized payout data for transparency.

Yeet reserves the right to audit, verify, or withhold earnings until all documentation (PAN, GSTIN, tax certificates, etc.) is received and verified.

Failure to provide required documentation or respond to audit queries within a reasonable time may result in permanent forfeiture of pending payouts, with no liability on Yeet.

7.7. No Financial or Investment Advice

Yeet does not provide financial or investment advice, nor does it guarantee income or profitability.

Any references to potential earnings are illustrative only.

Participation in monetization or paid features is entirely at your own risk.

Yeet shall not be liable for any loss of expected income, opportunity, goodwill, or business resulting from use of or reliance on the Platform.

8. Privacy, Data Protection & User Information

8.1 Data Collection and Processing

Yeet collects, processes, and stores limited personal and non-personal data strictly to operate, secure, and personalize the Platform. By using Yeet, you expressly consent to such collection and lawful processing in accordance with these Terms and Yeet’s Privacy Policy.

The types of data collected may include:

  • Account Information: Name, username, email, phone, date of birth, and other relevant verification data;
  • Usage Data: Device div, IP address, approximate location, browser type, and activity logs;
  • Content Data: Videos, comments, and interactions you upload;

  • Interest & Engagement Data: Opinions, debate topics, political or social interests, and interaction patterns;

Yeet does not collect or share PAN, Aadhaar, passport, or banking credentials except where required under Section 8.10 (KYC and Payout Data), with explicit consent. By continuing to use Yeet, you provide ongoing consent for lawful data collection and processing under these terms.

8.2 Purpose of Use

Yeet processes user data for legitimate, limited, and lawful purposes, including:

  • Providing, maintaining, and securing the Platform;
  • Personalizing recommendations, opinions, discussions, and debate topics;
  • Improving algorithms, analytics, and engagement performance;
  • Fraud prevention, moderation, and compliance with applicable laws;
  • Generating aggregated insights on social or political discussions;
  • Cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

Anonymized or statistical data may be shared with third-party analytics, academic, or research partners for lawful commercial or public-interest purposes. By continuing to use Yeet, you:

  • Secure server environments and firewalls;
  • Role-based access control and monitoring;
  • Periodic security audits and vulnerability testing; an
  • Confidentiality obligations for all staff and vendors.

No digital system is completely secure. You acknowledge that use of Yeet is at your own risk.

Yeet, its affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any breach, unauthorized access, or data compromise caused by hacking, malware, phishing, fraudulent activity, user negligence, or force majeure events beyond its control.

8.6. Third-Party Partners and Disclosures

Yeet may share limited or anonymized data with:

  • Cloud, hosting, analytics, or AI service providers;
  • Research or academic institutions;
  • Advertisers or marketing partners for aggregate insights;
  • Lawful business partners or subcontractors.

All third-party partners are bound by confidentiality and DPDPA-compliant data protection agreements.

No financial, reputational, or legal liability shall arise against Yeet, its promoters, directors, or employees for lawful sharing or analysis of anonymized or aggregated data.

  • Government-issued identification numbers (PAN, Aadhaar, passport);
  • Financial account div;
  • Passwords;
  • Biometric identifiers.

If users voluntarily disclose such data in uploaded content or public interactions, Yeet bears no responsibility or liability for any misuse, exposure, or consequence arising therefrom.

8.8. User Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, users may:

  • Access personal data held by Yeet;
  • Correct or update inaccuracies;
  • Request erasure of personal data;
  • Withdraw consent;

  • the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
  • user-generated content will be lawful, accurate, or respectful;
  • the Platform or any feature will meet your expectations or deliver specific results; or
  • any video, debate, or post will remain permanently available or accessible.

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

Yeet disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or reliability.

9.5. Interruption, Maintenance & Updates

Yeet may temporarily or permanently suspend, limit, or modify Platform access, in whole or in part, for:

  • technical, legal, or security reasons; or
  • any operational necessity deemed reasonable by Yeet.

Such interruptions shall not constitute a service defect or deficiency under any law. Downtime or service unavailability shall not entitle users to any refund, compensation, or damages.

  • trestrict access to ensure compliance or safety; or
  • discontinue any portion of the Platform permanently.

Once you leave Yeet or access an external integration, Yeet’s Terms and protections cease to apply.

9.7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • your access to or use of the Platform;
  • your content, actions, or omissions;
  • your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or
  • your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy right.

This obligation survives termination of your account or these Terms and remains enforceable indefinitely.

9.8. Force Majeure

Yeet shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters, acts of God, floods, earthquakes, or pandemics;
  • power or internet outages;
  • cyber-attacks, system failures, or data corruption;
  • strikes, labour disputes, or government restrictions; or
  • any other circumstance beyond Yeet’s reasonable foresight or control.

During such events, Yeet’s obligations are suspended without liability or penalty until the condition is resolved.

9.9. Aggregate Liability Cap

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the total cumulative liability of Yeet (operated by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited) for all claims, damages, or losses arising from or relating to your use of the Platform shall not exceed INR 100 (one hundred rupees) or the total amount actually paid by you to Yeet in the preceding twelve (12) months — whichever is lower.

This limitation applies even if any remedy fails of its essential purpose or is otherwise deemed inadequate.

10. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

10.1. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to them (including interpretation, validity, performance, or enforcement) shall be governed and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

All users — domestic or international — acknowledge that Yeet is a product owned and operated by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited (“the Company”), acorporation incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office in India.

Accordingly, all legal obligations, rights, and liabilities under these Terms shall vest solely in Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, and no director, officer, employee, promoter, or affiliate shall bear any personal liability arising from the operation or use of Yeet.

10.2. Jurisdiction

You expressly agree that the courts and tribunals at Mumbai (Suburban District), Maharashtra, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising from or relating to:

  • use of the Yeet Platform,
  • user content or interactions,
  • interpretation or breach of these Terms, or
  • enforcement of any rights or obligations hereunder.

No other court, tribunal, or forum shall have concurrent or parallel jurisdiction, except as mandatorily required under Indian law.

10.3. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Before initiating any legal proceeding, the parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith by contacting [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the dispute.

If unresolved, such disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended)

  • Arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator, appointed jointly by both parties (failing which, appointed by the Company in accordance with the Act).
  • The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai (Suburban District), Maharashtra, India.
  • The language of arbitration shall be English, or Hindi if mutually agreed.
  • The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.

Each party shall bear its own legal costs, and the arbitrator’s fees shall be shared equally, unless otherwise directed.

Users irrevocably waive any right to initiate or participate in aclass-action, group litigation, or representative proceeding against Yeet or Sarnav Technologies Private Limited.

10.4. Injunctive and Interim Relief

Notwithstanding the above, the Company retains the right to seek injunctive, equitable, or interim relief from any competent court in India to protect its intellectual property, confidential data, trade secrets, or user information — without waiving its right to arbitration for other matters.

Such proceedings shall not be construed as submission to any foreign jurisdiction.

10.5. International Users

If you access or use Yeet from outside India, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for compliance with all local laws applicable to your jurisdiction;
  • You will not use Yeet where its use is restricted or unlawful; and
  • You expressly consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts and the application of Indian law to all disputes.

Yeet and the Company make no representation that the Platform or its content is appropriate or available for use outside India. Access from other territories is at your own risk.

10.6. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

No failure or delay by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited in exercising any right or remedy shall operate as a waiver thereof, nor shall any partial exercise preclude further exercise of such right.

10.7. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any applicable program-specific terms, constitute the entire and exclusive agreement between you and Sarnav Technologies Private Limited concerning the Yeet Platform.

They supersede all prior oral or written communications, representations, or understandings relating to Yeet.

10.8. Assignment

You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from the Company.

Sarnav Technologies Private Limited may freely assign or transfer its rights and obligations (in whole or in part) to any affiliate, successor, or acquirer in connection with a merger, restructuring, or asset sale — without notice or restriction.

Yeet reserves the right to operate through subsidiaries or international affiliates in the future; such entities shall remain legally distinct and not alter the rights or obligations under these Terms.

Yeet is a digital product and technology platform owned and operated by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013.

Yeet is not a separate legal entity and functions solely as a service platform developed, managed, and licensed by the Company.

All rights, obligations, representations, and liabilities arising under these Terms belong exclusively to Sarnav Technologies Private Limited (“the Company”).

No individual officer, founder, director, employee, investor, or agent—including Mr. Kuldeep Sharma or Mr. Satish Sharma—shall bear any personal liability in connection with Yeet or its operation, directly or vicariously.

11.2. Independence of Products and Business Lines

Each software product, service, or brand of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited operates as an independent line of business.

Accordingly:

  • Liabilities, data, or obligations arising from Yeet shall not extend to any other product or subsidiary of the Company; and
  • No other Sarnav Technologies product shall bear any responsibility for Yeet’s operations, content, or users.

No cross-liability, joint responsibility, or financial interdependence exists between Yeet and any other Sarnav offering.

11.3. Interim Developer Account

For initial publication, the Yeet application may be distributed through a Google Play developer account registered in the name of Mr. Kuldeep Sharma (authorized representative of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited) using the email [email protected].

This arrangement is purely administrative and does not create personal ownership, control, or liability

All intellectual property, rights, and responsibilities remain vested exclusively in the Company.

Upon migration to a verified corporate developer account, all assets and administration will transfer automatically to Sarnav Technologies Private Limited without affecting user rights or data continuity.

Mr. Kuldeep Sharma shall, at all times, be deemed an agent of the Company acting in good faith, and shall incur no personal liability for user activity, platform transactions, or disputes. For avoidance of doubt, publication under a personal developer account shall not, in any manner, be deemed personal offering or representation of Mr. Kuldeep Sharma.

11.4. Reputation and Defamation Clause

  • Sarnav Technologies Private Limited;
  • Yeet (the Platform); or
  • any of their officers, founders, employees, or agents.

Any such act—whether through media, online publication, or social platforms—shall render the user personally liable for all resulting damages, legal fees, and compensation as may be determined by a competent court having jurisdiction in Mumbai (Suburban District), Maharashtra, India.

The Company reserves the right to pursue both civil and criminal remedies under:

  • Sections 499–502 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860;
  • the Information Technology Act, 2000; and
  • any other applicable statute or rule.

11.5. Legal Fees and User Responsibility

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Yeet, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, and their officers shall not be responsible for any legal costs, penalties, or expenses incurred by any user;
  • Users are individually responsible for all claims, proceedings, or damages arising from their actions or content, including copyright, defamation, or privacy issues; and
  • The Company shall not defend, reimburse, or indemnify any user in connection with disputes, complaints, or litigation involving user-generated content.

Users irrevocably waive any right to recover legal fees, compensation, or damages from the Company, its founders, or employees under any circumstance.

11.6. Communications & Legal Contact

Yeet does not accept physical correspondence.

A physical address may be disclosed only upon lawful written request by a competent authority.

11.7. Intellectual Property and Compliance

All source code, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and branding associated with Yeet are the exclusive intellectual property of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited.

The Company complies with:

  • Information Technology Act 2000,
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023,
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and other applicable Indian laws.

No other product of the Company shall bear liability for actions or failures related to Yeet, and vice versa

11.8. Founders’ & Officers’ Indemnity

All directors, founders, employees, investors, and authorized representatives of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited (including Mr. Kuldeep Sharma and Mr. Satish Sharma) are fully indemnified and held harmless against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, or proceedings arising out of:

  • user content or behaviour;
  • third-party misuse of the platform;
  • regulatory inquiries or actions arising from user conduct; or
  • any circumstance beyond the Company’s reasonable control.

This indemnity shall survive termination of these Terms and extend to all legal successors and assigns.

11.9. Master Safe-Harbour & Override Clause

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Sections 1 through 10 of these Terms—or any error, omission, or misinterpretation thereof—it is expressly declared that:

  • Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, Yeet, Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, and Mr. Satish Sharma shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental,consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages, losses, costs, or claims of any kind, whether arising in contract, tort, statute, equity, or otherwise;
  • This protection extends to all acts or omissions made in good faith, including technical errors, moderation actions, miscommunication, or reliance by users
  • If any clause of these Terms is found inconsistent with this Section 11, this Section shall prevail; and
  • Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction, grievance, or alleged harm is to discontinue use of the Yeet Platform.

This clause constitutes a complete and final limitation of liability and a legal safe-harbour for Yeet, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, its founders, directors, officers, employees, and affiliates.

Compliance Certification Statement

This document — including all clauses from Sections 1 through 11 — has been reviewed and structured in accordance with the following applicable laws and frameworks of the Republic of India:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000 and its allied rules, including theInformation Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (as amended in 2023);
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020;
  • Indian Contract Act, 1872;
  • Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended); and
  • Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, where applicable.

Yeet and Sarnav Technologies Private Limited affirm that the platform operates in good faith as a neutral intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, observing all reasonable due diligence, user notice, and grievance-redressal requirements as prescribed under law.

All legal rights, ownership, and responsibilities are vested exclusively with Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, and no personal liability shall arise to any of its founders, officers, employees, or affiliates for any user-generated content or conduct on the Yeet platform.

This Compliance Statement forms an integral and binding part of the Terms & Conditions and is intended to:

  • Confirm Yeet’s lawful intermediary status,
  • Establish data-protection alignment under Indian statutes, and
  • Operate as a definitive attestation of good-faith compliance for all regulatory, judicial, or contractual purposes.
