1. About Yeet
Yeet is a video-based debate and discussion platform owned and operated by Sarnav Technologies Private Limited (“Company”).
Yeet operates as an intermediary within the meaning of Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and provides a technical platform on which users may upload and share short video opinions and responses.
Yeet does not initiate, select, modify, monitor, or control user-generated content and does not exercise editorial oversight over content uploaded by users. Any content appearing on the platform originates solely from users acting independently and does not reflect the views of Yeet or the Company.
Yeet is an independent product line of Sarnav Technologies Private Limited. Other company products are unrelated and bear no cross-liability. All rights, operations, and intellectual property ownership rest solely with Sarnav Technologies Private Limited

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Data You Provide
During Sign-up: Phone number (OTP verification), live photo, username, password, and email (optional).
Verification / Payout Info: Limited KYC (bank/UPI/PAN) only if monetization features are enabled.
Consent: You provide consent to these Terms and this Policy during sign-up and OTP login.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
IP address, device type, OS, and session activity;
Camera, microphone, and video inputs (used during active participation only);
Approximate location for fraud detection and recommendations;
Engagement patterns, debate topics, and interest analytics;
Cookies or identifiers to maintain sessions and improve experience.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We process your data to:
Operate, authenticate, and secure your account;
Host, display, and personalize debate content;
Detect and prevent fraud or false engagement;
Recommend videos and opinions based on interests and location;
Analyze engagement and generate aggregated reports;
Comply with applicable laws and court orders.
Yeet does not sell user data. However, anonymized or aggregated datasets may be shared with research, analytics, or lawful third-party partners.
4. Legal Basis and Consent
Processing is lawful under:
Consent: Granted through OTP login and app use.
Contract Performance: To provide platform functionality.
Legal Obligation: For compliance with Indian law.
Legitimate Interest: Security, analytics, and fraud detection.
Withdrawal of consent is available through account deletion within the app.
No manual email action is required.
All processing prior to deletion remains valid.
5. Permissions Disclosure
At login, Yeet may request access to:
Camera and Microphone: To record and upload video responses.
Location: To recommend debates and detect monetization fraud.
Network / Storage: To upload, cache, and stream videos securely.
Permissions are requested at runtime and can be revoked via device settings. No background access occurs.
6. Account Deletion & Data Retention
Users can delete their account directly within the in the app anytime
Upon deletion :
Account and associated data are removed, anonymized, or retained for such period as required under applicable law, a court order, or a lawful government or regulatory directive.
Minimal data may be retained in logs for security or legal purposes
Data used for analytics remains in anonymized form
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share limited data with:
Cloud or analytics providers(for monetization features)
Payment processors (for monetization features);
Research partners (for aggregated interest and polarization insights);
Authorities (under lawful Section 69A IT Act requests).
All partners follow data-protection obligations under DPDPA 2023
No partner receives personal identifiers such as phone number or photo
8. Security Measures
Yeet follows Reasonable Security Practices under Rule 8 of the IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011:
Data encryption at rest and in transit;
Secure cloud infrastructure ;
Access controls and audits
Confidentiality and NDAs obligations.
Yeet shall not be liable for breaches caused by external attacks or user negligence
9.Payments, Monetization, and Verification
Where monetization, rewards, or payouts are enabled on the Platform, transactions are processed through third-party payment service providers. Yeet acts solely as a technical facilitator and does not itself process payments.
For verification and regulatory compliance purposes, Yeet may collect limited identification or verification information such as PAN, Aadhaar, or bank details. Such information is collected solely for verification, is not retained beyond lawful necessity, and may be shared with payment service providers or competent authorities strictly as required under applicable law.
10. Cross-Border Transfers
If data is processed outside India (for hosting or analytics), such transfer shared.
Compiles with DPDPA 2023 safeguards
IS encrypted and contractually protected
Never includes sensitive identifiers (PAN,Aadhar,etc)
11. User Rights
Under Indian law,users have the right to:
Access or review their personal data;
Correct inaccurate data
Delete their account within the app
Withdraw consent;

Requests are acknowledged within 7 days and resolved within 30 days, unless prohibited by law
11A. Child Safety, Prohibited Content, and Legal Compliance
Yeet strictly prohibits the creation, upload, distribution, or transmission of any content that exploits, abuses, sexualizes, or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Yeet operates solely as an intermediary and does not proactively monitor, screen, review, or moderate user-generated content. Responsibility for ensuring that content complies with applicable laws rests with the user who creates, uploads, or transmits such content, subject only to statutory obligations expressly imposed on intermediaries under applicable law.
Any action taken by Yeet in relation to reported, identified, or alleged unlawful content is undertaken strictly on a discretionary and best-efforts basis and only where legally required. Yeet makes no representation or warranty regarding the timing, speed, completeness, or outcome of any review, disabling, or removal process. Delays, partial action, or non-action may occur due to verification requirements, operational or technical limitations, volume of reports, legal uncertainty, or circumstances beyond Yeet’s reasonable control.
Upon receipt of a valid legal notice or lawful order identifying content that violates applicable law, Yeet’s obligation is limited to disabling access to such content in accordance with Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and other applicable laws. Yeet does not assume any obligation to act in the absence of such notice or order.
Where required by law, Yeet may preserve and disclose information available on its systems to duly authorized law-enforcement or regulatory authorities. Yeet does not guarantee the availability, completeness, accuracy, or continued retention of any information beyond what is technically available on the platform at the relevant time and in accordance with applicable law.
12. Age and User Responsibility
Yeet is intended for use by individuals aged 13 years and above.
Users between the ages of 13 and 17 (“Minors”) may access the platform only under the supervision, guidance, and responsibility of their parent or legal guardian.
Yeet does not independently verify the age of users and relies on self-declarations and representations made by users at the time of access. Yeet does not seek or obtain parental or guardian consent as a condition of access and assumes no obligation to verify such consent.
Responsibility for monitoring a minor’s access to the platform, activities undertaken, and content consumption rests with the parent or legal guardian, subject to applicable law.
Yeet does not assume any duty of care, supervision, or monitoring obligations toward minors beyond obligations expressly imposed under applicable law, including statutory notice-and-takedown requirements.
13.International Users & Global Data Processing
Yeet is operated from India and governed by Indian law.
Users accessing the Platform from outside India, including Asia, the European Union, UK, Latin America, North America, Oceania, Meddle East or any other jurisdiction world wide, acknowledge and agree that:
Yeet processes personal data primarily in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, IT Rules 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India);
Where applicable, Yeet follows globally accepted data-protection principles such as transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, and security safeguards, consistent with international standards including GDPR-inspired practices;
Yeet does not represent or warrant compliance with every country’s local data-protection law and does not submit to foreign regulatory jurisdiction, except where mandatorily required under Indian law;
By accessing or using Yeet from outside India, users explicitly consent to the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of their data to and within India, and waive any claims arising solely from cross-border data processing;
If any local law restricts the use of Yeet, the user is solely responsible for discontinuing access.
Yeet reserves the right to limit or discontinue access from any jurisdiction at its sole discretion without notice or liability.

15. Disclaimer & Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
a) Yeet and Sarnav Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any user-generated content originating from users of the platform, including content that may be unlawful, offensive, misleading, sexually explicit, involve nudity, harm minors, or otherwise cause harm. The presence of such content on the platform does not imply knowledge, endorsement, approval, or control by Yeet or the Company.
b) Yeet does not assume any responsibility or obligation to monitor, screen, verify, validate, or moderate user-generated content prior to or after publication.
c) Users, and where applicable their parents or legal guardians, bear primary responsibility for content creation, access, usage, and interaction on the platform, subject to applicable law.
d) Yeet’s liability, if any, is strictly limited to actions expressly required under applicable law following receipt of a valid legal notice or lawful order, including obligations arising under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules.
e) No director, founder, officer, employee, contractor, agent, or representative of Yeet or Sarnav Technologies Private Limited shall be personally, vicariously, jointly, or severally liable—whether civilly, criminally, or regulatorily—for any claim, proceeding, or liability arising out of or relating to the use of the platform.
f) Under no circumstances shall Yeet or Sarnav Technologies Private Limited be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by law.
g) The user’s sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the platform is to discontinue use and delete their account.
16. Indemnity
The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yeet, Sarnav Technologies Private Limited, and its directors, founders, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, investigations, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
a) any content created, uploaded, transmitted, shared, or accessed by the user or by any minor under the user’s supervision;
b) any violation of these Terms, this Privacy Policy, or applicable laws by the user or by any minor under the user’s supervision;
c) any allegation that user-generated content infringes, violates, or misappropriates the rights of any third party, including claims relating to defamation, privacy, intellectual property, obscenity, child safety, or unlawful activity;
d) Yeet’s liability, if any, is strictly limited to actions expressly required under applicable law following receipt of a valid legal notice or lawful order, including obligations arising under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules.
e) any misuse of the platform, breach of representations, or failure to comply with age-related or parental responsibility requirements.
This indemnity obligation shall survive termination of the user’s account or access to the platform and shall apply regardless of whether Yeet exercises or refrains from exercising any rights or remedies available under these policies or applicable law.
